Born as Shannon Marie Kahoolani Sossamon on October 3, 1978 in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is an American actress, musician, model and model. This multi-talented woman is also of multi-national descent as she is a mixture of Dutch, English, Irish, German, French, Filipino and Hawaiian blood. Her breakthrough role was as Lady Jocelyn in A Knight's Tale opposite the late Heath Ledger. From then on, she starred in 40 Days and 40 Nights with Josh Hartnett and in The Rules of Attraction. Before her acting career, Shannyn was a drummer for a band called Warpaint with her sister and she was also a disc jockey. She modeled for several known brands like Gap, Pepsi, Unionbay, Kodak and Oldsmobile. She also appeared on numerous music videos for various artist including Korn, Mick Jagger, Goo Goo Dolls, Cher and Daft Punk.
